Criminal Conviction Policy

The New York State Department of Education's Office of the Professions states that a Clinical Laboratory Scientist must be of good moral character. Students who have a misdemeanor or criminal conviction should call the NYSED at 518-474-3817. The determination of whether an applicant under Title VIII of the Education Law is of good moral character shall be made in accordance the procedures of the Office of Professions.
